R City Youth CIC
R City Youth CIC was established in 2014, following a successful cross community collaboration between two youth clubs in the Ardoyne and Shankill areas of North Belfast. ‘Communities Integrating Through Youth’ is the organisation’s central purpose, with a focus on youth empowerment, leadership and good relations. The flagship youth programmes, R City Leadership Programme and Belfast 2 Blanco, are renowned as some of the most exciting and impactful pieces of work with young people in Belfast and across NI.
The organisation has a local, national and international footprint, working in partnership with organisations such as Queen’s University Belfast, Trinity College Dublin, Foróige, British Council and community partners in the Cape Town and George areas of South Africa.
R City Youth CIC originally signed up under our FundReady ‘Support’ Package in March 2019 and our initial work focussed on securing small scale funds for new initiatives. This has developed into a broader relationship with the organisation now being a Bespoke FundReady Support Client and a subscriber to both AccountsReady and ImpactReady. As a result we are advising R City Youth on key funding opportunities, good accounting practice and financial management and measuring the impact of their work.
